The position reports to the President of the Division.
Job Description:
As the Citrix Sales Manager you will be prospecting for new business, direct customer engagement, working with Citrix Solutions Network (CSN) partners to increase Citrix product knowledge and efficiencies, and whenever possible, leveraging ISV and Citrix Strategic Business Alliances (CBA) relationships to drive sales into end user accounts. You must be comfortable managing both an indirect customer procurement and direct customer engagement model. You will be responsible for all aspects of the sale from pricing negotiations to contract development to ensuring successful order fulfillment once the order has been received and processed by Citrix. Your ability to leverage and maximize CSN/CBA/SI/ISV partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives is a must.
You will manage and direct multiple resources in engagements with the prospect and/or customer, including SE support, CCS, CBA or VAR engagements as well as monitor any technical support issues. As such, you must be able to work with partner sales and services organizations as well as IT and lines of business executives within corporate environments. You must also be able to communicate effectively with Citrix headquarters-based resources and staff in order to effectively resolve customer issues that may arise.
It is your sole responsibility to manage and to achieve or exceed your revenue targets. As a result, weekly forecasts against revenue targets are your responsibility, and you need to work closely with the President of the Division to manage the pipeline and set appropriate monthly and quarterly revenue expectations using CRM and forecasting tools.
Qualifications and Requirements:
| • | Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience | |
| • | (3-5) years prior sales management experience in a high tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology | |
| • | Knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale | |
| • | Knowledge of Citrix products is a plus | |
| • | Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions | |
| • | Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills | |
| • | Strong work ethic, attitude and follow throgh ability |
