Policy Statement
It is the policy of MODCOMP, Inc., as an Equal Opportunity Employer, to affirm its commitment to equal opportunity as stated in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual. MODCOMP, Inc. has submitted an Affirmative Action Plan for the purpose of maintaining that promise with particular emphasis on the minority workforce population and the utilization of minority professional firms, consultants, and/or suppliers. MODCOMP, Inc.’s policy is to provide equal opportunity on the basis of merit, pursuant to Federal Executive Orders Number 11246, State and Local Laws, and regulations where applicable.
MODCOMP, Inc. affords equal opportunity for all without regard to race, color, ancestry, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, physical handicap, marital status, medical condition or veteran status.
In efforts to make our Affirmative Action Plan work, we encourage all executive management and supervisory personnel to periodically review the policies being implemented so that no employee or applicant for employment shall suffer any form of discrimination because of race, color, ancestry, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, physical handicap, marital status, medical condition or veteran status. Special meetings may be held in order to explain the intent of the plan and individual responsibility for effective implementation. This plan will also be discussed during employee orientation. We expect all management officials to set examples for the Company by intensifying their efforts now and on a continuing basis to attract minority and female applicants in all job categories.
It is also MODCOMP, Inc.’s policy and management’s responsibility to recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job titles, without regard to race, color, ancestry, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, physical handicap, marital status, medical condition or veteran status.
MODCOMP, Inc. will base decisions on employment so as to further the principle of Equal Employment Opportunity.
MODCOMP, Inc. will insure that all personnel actions such as compensation, benefits, transfers, layoffs, return from layoffs, company sponsored training, education, tuition assistance, and social recreation programs will be administered without regard to race, color, ancestry, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, physical handicap, marital status, medical condition or veteran status.
In order to effectively communicate and interpret the MODCOMP, Inc. EEO policy to all levels of management and supervision, and to all other employees, outside sources such as recruitment subcontractors/sources, vendors, suppliers, community agencies, and the public in general, our Affirmative Action Plan was undertaken. Sandra Caridad Alvarez, Human Resources and Recruiting Manager, is the Affirmative Action Officer. She will have the day-to-day responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of our plan.
MODCOMP, Inc.’s Affirmative Action Plan is available for review by an employee or applicant for employment upon request, during normal business hours, in the Human Resources Department. Interested persons should contact the Human Resources Department at 954-974-1380 x. 1627 or 1910 for assistance.
