MODCOMP's ViewMax Legacy to Web Bridge Now Offers Connectivity Options with V2.0 Release

Lauderdale, FL -- ViewMax(TM) is MODCOMP's total integration solution that bridges legacy systems with Web technology, in its Version 2.0 release now offers connectivity to nearly any legacy system in existence. ViewMax, which began shipping in November of 1996, is a proven means of preserving and extending the use of existing mainframes, midranges and other host systems that businesses depend on.

Corporations worldwide can not only replace their current green screen interface with an intuitive, user-friendly web browser, but also take advantage of dramatically increased efficiencies and improved business flow. In this 2.0 version release, ViewMax now provides connectivity to systems as varied as:

These new connectivity capabilities have been added to ViewMax's existing list of connectivity options: DEC VT100, VT220, VT320, VT420, IBM 3270, 5250, 3151, and its integration with systems requiring application interfaces such as: LU 6.2, ODBC, OLE, SQL, and EDI.

In addition, ViewMax for Windows NT(TM) is now available for the growing number of corporations who are choosing NT as their enterprise system of choice. ViewMax is also available for systems running the Sun(TM) Solaris(TM) software environment.
