The position reports to the Sr. Account Executive. Candidates working in this position will begin working primarily as a “shadow” or sales assistant to Sr. Account Executive. Within approximately 2 – 3 months, the candidate will move into an Inside/Outside Sales role and will continue to have the opportunity to work with and gain knowledge from our successful Sr. Account Executives.
Ideal candidates are:
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Technical background (or strong desire to learn IT business)
- Sales experience a plus (cold calling)
- “Work Hard, Play Hard” attitude (if you are looking for a 9 to 5 job, this is NOT for you!)
- Strong desire to learn and a quick learner
- Results oriented
- Experience with solution selling in the technology service industry a plus.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the IT industry (as how it relates to products and services) or proven technology aptitude.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed with an ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while demonstrating excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
- Capability of working in a professional but informal environment.
